HowTo: Advanced Formula for Targets
Ever have this happen to you? You need need to crank out a scorecard and there are no matching Targets to compare your Actual against? Well, if you want to create a Target on the fly, use an Advanced Formula within the Data Mapping tab. You can insert an MDX expression that uses the Actual value in a calculation to produce your target. In the example above, I take the Reseller Order Count and multiply it by 75% and then add the count again to give me a target.
